The DGP stated that the LeT commander joined the terror outfit in 2016, also has been active just like (former Hizbul Mujahideen commander) Burhan Wani. The terrorist had been included from the killing of BJP’s former district president Waseem Bari along with 2 of the family members in July this year.

“He was in charge of destroying many families… While clearly the murdering of two CRPF jawans and a cop can be just a massive loss, but the method by which the authorities, CRPF and Army failed the surgery, it really is a successful surgery in the real sense and I expect that lots of families will heave a sigh of relief with his killing,” law enforcement official said.
Special Police (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Muzaffar Ali of District Police Baramulla, constable Lokesh Sharma and constable Khurshid Khan of 119 Battalion CRPF were martyred on Monday.
