Another Army jawan, who was wounded during the gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla encounter area, died on Tuesday. The terrorists carried out an attack over the combined naka party in Kreeri area of Baramulla district Monday, which left 2 CRPF jawans and a policeman dead. 2 Army personnel sustained gunshot injuries through the encounter.
Times Now’s Fareed Mir reported that Baramulla encounter has been a tricky operation for the security forces. It all started as soon as the terrorists ambushed a combined party in which three security personnel, for example 2 CRPF jawans and a cop were murdered. A counter operation was started by the forces along with also two terrorists were neutralised, for example a premier Lashkar commander. However, that the gun fight ensued as more terrorists raced in. Mir said both Army jawans have been critically hurt in the gun battle even though one of those expired on Monday, one other jawan succumbed to the bullet injuries today. He also stated that a top LeT commander is thought to be holed up in the area.
According to Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh Sajad Haider was among the best ten terrorist in the union territory. The DGP stated that the LeT commander joined the terror outfit in 2016, also has been active just like (former Hizbul Mujahideen commander) Burhan Wani. The terrorist had been included from the killing of BJP’s former district president Waseem Bari along with 2 of the family members in July this year.
“He was in charge of destroying many families… While clearly the murdering of two CRPF jawans and a cop can be just a massive loss, but the method by which the authorities, CRPF and Army failed the surgery, it really is a successful surgery in the real sense and I expect that lots of families will heave a sigh of relief with his killing,” law enforcement official said.
Special Police (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Muzaffar Ali of District Police Baramulla, constable Lokesh Sharma and constable Khurshid Khan of 119 Battalion CRPF were martyred on Monday.
